Finsbury Park: What to Eat!

Finsbury Park: What to Eat – Finsbury Park, one of  the first of the great London parks laid out in the Victorian Era has a lot to offer. The park itself is perfect for a nice relaxing day with friends and family. Besides the lake, children’s playground as well as cafe, there are also a number of sports facilities to enjoy i.e. football pitches, a skatepark, tennis & basketball courts and more. The quirky area itself also has a lot to offer when it comes to dining. If you’re staying at our hotel and are looking for food to indulge in, here’s a list of our favourite restaurants near us!

A blend of Japanese and Korean fusion. Located right next to Finsbury Park station, it’s popularity rose since the opening back in 2008. It’s virtually impossible to get a table without a booking. As you enter, you’ll find yourself in the far east with the Japanese and Korean decor. If you’re looking to indulge in good quality Korean barbecue or Sushi for an impressively cheap price, this is the place to go!

Amigos Barritos

“Authentic, tasty, takeaway Mexican food, delivered to your door.”

If you’re craving authentic Mexican food, check out Amigos Barritos! You’ll find a wide variety of food. They char-grill their meat and pair it with fresh vegetables and Amigos homemade sauces, dips and salsas making it a lot more healthier version of a takeaway! From tacos to burritos to fajitas, there’s definitely something for you!

If you’re craving Turkish food, Gokyuzu is the place to go! If this is raved about in London’s main Turkish neighbourhood, then this is definitely the place to visit! It’s always busy and for good reason i.e. the excellent quality food, cheap prices, so be sure to make a reservation! Tip: If you’re visiting, be sure to try about the Sarma tavuk beyti , you won’t regret it!

Max’s sandwich shop

Max’s sandwich shop only sells 3 sandwiches, but trust us when we say their sandwiches are some of the best you’ll ever try! Here’s just one of them: braised short ribs, sauerkraut, deep-fried broccoli and ‘very slutty gravy mayo’. How good does that sound? You get a number of flavours challenging your taste buds! What’s better is that you get a massively large sandwich for an extremely low price! Be sure to check this out!
