All you Harry Potter fans, mark your calendars as starting from Friday October 20,2017 to February 28,2018, The British Library is displaying a brand new exhibition called Harry Potter: A History of Magic which honours the 20 year mark since the publication of the first book, Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone.
The Harry Potter Exhibition gives us the privilege of diving into the magical world of potions, mystical creatures, witches, wizards etc. We get to understand the story of the Boy who lived in a more academic approach in terms of coming into contact with precious artifacts that showcase the wonder behind this magical world.
What you’ll get at the Harry Potter Exhibition ranges from Broomsticks, wands and crystal balls, centuries-old treasures, to rare books, manuscripts and magical objects from the British Library’s collection. You’ll even come close to JK Rowlings handwritten list of the teachers and subjects at Hogwarts, talking flowerpots, and a mermaid, allegedly caught in Japan during the eighteenth century.
