This December sees the return of yet another international tournament to Alexandra Palace. Making its second appearance at the Ally Pally is the Mosconi Cup, the annual 9-ball pool tournament between Europe and the USA.
The Mosconi Cup brings together the best players from both sides of the Atlantic in a prestigious pool tournament, where selection is the pinnacle of a player’s career.
The tournament is named after Willie Mosconi, who dominated 9-ball pool in North America between 1941 and 1957.
The Mosconi Cup has been running for 24 years and Europe is looking to extend its winning streak to 9 wins in a row.
The Mosconi Cup is televised in 139 countries around the world, the fast pace of the game making it a must watch event. The tournament runs from 4-7 of December, tickets to this event sell-out very quickly and are available from http://www.matchroompool.com/mosconi-cup
