Royal Ascot 2018

From 19 June 2018 to 23 June 2018

Royal Ascot is Britain’s most valuable race meeting, attracting many of the world’s finest racehorses to compete for more than £7.3m in prize money. Eighteen Group races, eight of them Group One, have made household names of Royal Ascot winners like Black Caviar, Frankel and Yeats.  Each year the meeting is broadcast to audiences around the globe, yet to be there in person is a unique experience.

Royal Ascot is synonymous with sartorial elegance. This is upheld by a dress code, which invites guests to contribute to an occasion heralded as a major fashion event in its own right.

Royal Ascot has 12 exclusive restaurants offering private tables for the day and dishes by Michelin  – starred chefs. Racegoers can also order a picnic.

Ticket holders in all enclosures can enhance their day by hiring a private gazebo, reserving a picnic table or upgrading to exclusive bars.

There are four levels of tickets for Royal Ascot:

  • Windsor Enclosure. These are the cheapest tickets and there is no formal dress code,
  • Village Enclosure. With these tickets you can enjoy the race, the restaurants and the cocktail bars.
  • Queen Anne Enclosure. These tickets give you access to excellent facilities and entertainment.
  • Royal Enclosure at Ascot is restricted to those who have been sponsored for membership. Overseas visitors can apply to their embassy or high commission for badges.

Gates open at 10.30am, with the first race at 2.30pm.
