Thor Ragnorok: The Movie to Watch This Week

After a 4 year wait, Thor Ragnorok is finally coming to cinema’s and based on what we’ve heard so far, this one is by far the best of the whole trilogy.


Taking place 2 years after the Battle of Sokovia, Thor’s quest for information regarding the Infinity Stone leads him to the fire demon Surtur from whom he learns that his brother Loki, has been up to his usual evil tricks in which he is impersonation their father Odin since the Dark Elf conflict. Now being imprisoned, Thor finds himself in a war against his once former ally, the Hulk. He now must fight for his survival  to prevent Hela, Thor’s sister and the goddess of death from destroying his home and the Asgardian civilization.

Since premiere in Los Angeles in October 10,2017, reviews have been nothing but positive. Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 99% based on 75 reviews, with an average rating of 7.7/10. The website’s critical consensus reads, “Exciting, funny, and above all fun, Thor: Ragnarok is a colorful cosmic adventure that sets a new standard for its franchise—and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
